Wisconsin’s Groundwater: A Buried Treasure

Wisconsin holds an estimated 1.2 quadrillion gallons of groundwater – enough to cover the state in 100 feet of water. But differences in geology, land use and human activity result in fluctuating levels of water quality and quantity.
