Pathways to Opportunity: Wisconsin Counties Expand Accessibility

Counties provide a wide range of comprehensive services, working to give people of all abilities the tools and resources they need to live a full life. The July 2025 Wisconsin Counties magazine looks at a few examples, from parks to housing, of how counties are working to make public life more accessible for people with disabilities.
The issue also highlights a homeownership initiative in Bayfield and Ashland counties, the second in a three-part series on AI use, a new higher education program in Sheboygan County, and the impact of canceled federal emergency management grants in Wisconsin.
