Mark Your Calendars for WCA District Meetings and County Officials Workshops (COWS)

In spring of even-numbered years, the Wisconsin Counties Association holds two important events: WCA District Meetings, as well as County Officials Workshops (COWS).

Below please find the dates and locations of these events. Be sure to hold the appropriate dates on your calendars and check your inbox soon for final details, speakers and agenda items.

If you have any questions about the WCA District Meetings or COWS, please contact Sarah Diedrick-Kasdorf, Director of Outreach and Member Engagement, at 608.663.7188 or via email.

WCA holds District Meetings after the spring general election. WCA uses these district meetings to elect members to the WCA Board of Directors and the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation Board of Directors.

The county board chair or a vice chair may also designate, in writing, the county executive or another county supervisor to serve as the county’s voting delegate. In addition to the elections, the meetings will include a brief update on the Association, a legislative update, as well as information on WCA’s programs and services.
