“Senator Felzkowksi and Representative Kurtz are two legislative leaders who spearheaded what could be described as the most important piece of legislation in generations here in Wisconsin: the shared revenue bill,” said WCA President & CEO Mark D. O’Connell.

He continued, “This historic bill, AB 245 (now 2023 Wisconsin Act 12), provides much needed funding to counties and other local units of government. We are grateful for their efforts and the time they took to come to the WCA studio to discuss the bill and provide an inside look at the process, important players, and what the passage of the bill means for our local governments and all of Wisconsin.”
