Join WCA for “Turnout for Transportation: Capitol Edition”

Locals for a Sustainable Solution
At the March 2017 WCA Board of Directors meeting, transportation was made one of the association’s top five priorities for the current state budget.
As you may recall, last fall WCA co-hosted the unprecedented Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin’s (TDA) “Turnout for Transportation” event.
The event was so successful that WCA, the Wisconsin Towns Association and the League of Wisconsin Municipalities are joining forces again for “Turnout for Transportation: Capitol Edition” on May 10, 2017.
See the full flyer for the “Turnout for Transportation: Capitol Event” here.
WCA members have been an integral part of starting the statewide dialogue about the condition of Wisconsin’s infrastructure and its impact on Wisconsin residents and businesses. And counties kept the issue in the news. Now we need to keep the issue of sustainable transportation funding in front of our state elected leaders.
In order to ensure transportation receives the necessary attention and consideration before the State Legislature, WCA is asking each county to send two people to the Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin’s (TDA) event, “Turnout for Transportation: Capitol Edition.”
