Veterans Service Officer
Columbia County is recruiting to fill the position of Veterans Service Officer (VSO). Qualifications: Wisconsin Resident who served on active duty under honorable conditions in the Armed Forces of the United States. The VSO administers veterans services and provides assistance to veterans, their dependents and survivors living in the service officer’s county. The VSO is an elected position through a majority vote of the Columbia County Board of Supervisors. Education: Business or Associate Degree from an accredited college, university, or technical school with a minimum of two years of responsible office experience or High school diploma or its equivalent, and a minimum of four years of responsible office work experience.
