Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Performs intermediate skilled trades work conducting preventative maintenance on equipment, operating single axle, tandem axle, heavy machinery, and tanker trucks, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the respective division manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience in heavy equipment and truck driving operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of Commercial Driver’s License with A, B, C, Air Brake, and “N” Tanker endorsements and Forklift training upon hire. Obtain First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Personal Protective Equipment, 608 Refrigeration Certification within two (2) or more years of hire. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

WAGE: $22.42 per hour, 40 hours per week. Adams County offers a generous benefits package.
