Treatment Recovery Nurse
Performs general jail health nursing duties under the supervision of the agency. The Sheriff and/or designee work with the Jail Health Nurse and Jail Medical Advisor who has final medical judgment. The Jail Health Nurse will work cooperatively with the Jail Advisory Committee on as needed basis to address jail health needs. This position is responsible for the management of assigned jail health duties as described in the jail health policies. This position is specific to the needs of those suffering from SUD-Substance Use Disorder and MOUD-Medications for Opioid Use Disorder.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires an Associates or preferred 4 year Bachelor degree in Nursing.
Experience with individuals with substance use and/or mental health issues is preferred
SALARY: $31.85 per hour. Juneau County offers a generous benefits package.
