Transport Officer (Casual)

Join our team as a Transport Officer in a dynamic, plain clothes capacity, where your primary responsibility will be the secure and efficient transportation of inmates. This role involves managing transfers between correctional facilities, courts, and various medical or mental health treatment centers. Occasionally, you will also provide vital security support for inmates undergoing treatment at medical facilities. Former Law Enforcement/Correctional Officers are encourage to apply!

Under general supervision of the Jail Sergeant, responsible for supervising inmates of the Calumet County Jail assuring a safe and secure environment, while adhering to all applicable laws, policies and procedures. Performs related duties as required.
