Telecommunicator (9-1-1 Dispatcher)

Telecommunicators take emergency calls and dispatch police, fire and medical services, and also take non-emergency calls. This position requires extensive training and familiarization with emergency service dispatching entailing a 9-1-1 system and hired persons will be trained to be familiar with all aspects of emergency dispatch center operations. All positions are full-time. This is a 24/7 operation – there are 3 shifts, and work will include holidays and weekends.
Minimum starting pay is $23.57/hr, and may be higher with experience. Shift differentials are added to base pay for 2nd ($1.00/hr) and 3rd ($1.50/hr.) shift work.
