Technical Support Specialist

Jackson County is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide computer, hardware, and software support for the Sheriff’s Office. This position will set up and maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, train staff, and work with Central IT and vendors to ensure reliable and secure technology services.

Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in information systems or technical support
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and ability to pass federal clearance and background check

2025 Wages: $51,313 – $57,179 plus excellent County benefits and participation in the Wisconsin State Retirement.
