Job Description:

The Talent Development & Inclusion Partner plays a pivotal role in nurturing talent and leadership capabilities among employees while fostering a culture of diversity, equity & inclusion within county. They spearhead the integration of these principles into various facets of county operations, enhancing both the internal environment and the quality of service delivery to our community.

Location: 320 S. Walnut St in Appleton, WI
Hours: Core hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM but there is flexibility with hours.
Remote access 2 days a week upon supervisor approval once trained.

Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and deliver comprehensive learning development programs for employees and leadership, aligning with organizational culture, values, and strategic objectives.
*Utilize expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion to design and implement learning initiatives that promote an inclusive workplace, ensuring programs meet quality, timing and budgetary requirements.
*Establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and integrate feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
*Manage internal communications related to talent development and inclusion initiatives, including leadership communication, event promotion, and program awareness campaigns.
*Provide consultation to departments, supervisors, and employees on diversity and inclusion matters, identifying knowledge gaps and implementing tailored development interventions.
*Collaborate with HR leadership team to define diversity metrics, track progress, and derive insights to enhance workplace initiatives.
*Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, community groups, external diversity organizations and county departments to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
*Oversee vendor relationships to ensure the procurement of high-quality, cost-effective training materials and development services.
*Develop, implement and facilitate programs that reinforce the county’s inclusive culture and values.
*Serve as the primary liaison for the Civil Rights Plan, ensuring alignment with county objectives and legal requirements.

Education/Certifications/Experience Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or a related field
*Minimum of five years related professional experience in diversity, inclusion or equity roles, with a focus on training and development, and policy formulation and program administration.
*Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

Required or Preferred Skills:
*Deep understanding of diversity and inclusion challenges within complex organizational environments.
*Proficiency in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development solutions, applying best practices.
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and navigate complex work streams effectively.
*Strong project management skills, including prioritization, deadline adherence, and obstacle resolution.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with adeptness in presenting and facilitating discussions across all organizational levels.
*Proficiency in conducting equity analysis, developing work plans, and executing program initiatives.
*Ability to provide consultation and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees on diversity-related matters.
*Competence in utilizing computers and relevant software applications.
