Supervisor – Family and Children’s Services (FCS)
The purpose of this position is to direct and supervise the Family and Children’s Services unit in compliance with Wisconsin Statutes, agency policies, contracts, best practices and county, state and federal mandates. Provide oversight of Child Protective Services, Juvenile Justice Services, Child Welfare, CCS, CLTS, CCOP, CST and Birth to Three and/or Alternate Care Services. The work is performed under the direction of the Director-Human Services.
Master’s degree in Social Work, five years’ experience working in family and children services within a human services setting, including case management, budgeting and supervisory/management experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Wisconsin social work certification, valid motor vehicle operator’s license and available means of transportation required.
The 2021 annual salary for this full-time (80 hours bi-weekly), exempt position is $58,718 to $80,059 (step 20). The expected annual salary is $58,718 to $66,705 (step 4), depending upon qualifications. Trempealeau County’s compensation plan considers annual wage step increases.
