Soil and Water Technician

This position assists the Juneau County Land & Water Resources Department and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Field Office and is responsible for technical planning and designing of soil erosion control practices and animal waste pollution systems in conjunction with the goals set forth in the Juneau County Land & Water Resource Management Plan.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or technical school in agriculture, natural resources or related field with three (3) years of soil and water conservation field experience, or any combination of education and experience that will permit the individual to adequately perform the duties of a Soil & Water Conservation Technician.

SALARY: $25.02 per hour. Juneau County offers a generous benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and matching contribution to the Wisconsin Retirement System.
