Chippewa County is accepting applications for a full-time Social Worker position within the Department of Human Services –Child Protective Services unit. The job duties of the Social Worker include but are not limited to, conducting assessments regarding child safety, case planning, crisis intervention, and connection to community resources.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field and must possess or be able to obtain Social Work Certification within two (2) years of hire. Prior experience working with adults with mental illness including substance use disorders is preferred.

Starting Wage: $23.61 – $29.74 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Growth. Maximum Salary: $37.18 per hour.
