Social Worker

Iowa County is seeking applications for two (2) full-time Social Worker positions within the Social Services Department (Youth and Family Unit and Aging and Disability Resource Center). Youth and Family Unit: Essential duties include but are not limited to child protective services and youth justice in accordance with statues and Department of Children and Families standards. Aging and Disability Resource Center: Essential duties include but are not limited to Adult Protective Services in accordance with statues and Department of Health Services standards. Starting pay is $24.87/hr. and a generous, comprehensive benefit package is provided.

Minimum requirement include: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field, preference for one year of social work experience in a county social services department. Current WI Social Work certification or the ability to attain the certification within the two (2) years of employment required. Applicants are subject to a criminal background check.
