Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Social Worker position within the Department of Human Services – Recovery and Wellness Consortium. The job duties of this social worker position include but are not limited to provide the following services; service facilitation, screening, assessment and recovery planning for adults in Comprehensive Community Services Program.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Worker or a related field (e.g. psychology, sociology, etc.) Must possess or be able to obtain Social Work Certification within two (2) years of hire. Experience in crisis planning, advocacy, knowledge of community resources and ability to work with adults with varying levels of mental health and substance abuse disorders preferred. Starting Wage: $23.61 – $29.74 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $37.18 per hour.
