Social Worker
Columbia County Health & Human Services is recruiting for a Social Worker in the Division of Behavioral Health and Long Term Support. This position involves performing duties and essential tasks for consumers of the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program with mental health and substance use disorders over the lifespan. Tasks may include but are not limited to assessing program eligibility, developing and implementing person-centered service plans, ongoing case management, assessing crisis needs, and client advocacy for assigned consumers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited Social Work Degree Program. Must be certified/licensed under Wis. Stats. §457 or eligible to obtain social work certification/licensure within one year of hire and maintain licensure throughout employment; you must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Service program. Requires possession of valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and personal transportation. Starting wage: $31.755 per hour, for certified Social Workers and $29.819 per hour for Case Workers, until social work certification obtained. Application deadline is August 16, 2026.
