Jackson County Highway Department is accepting applications for Seasonal Project Laborers. These positions are under the supervision of the Patrol Superintendent or Foreman the primary duty will be traffic control. Other duties may consist of road maintenance, road improvement projects, and provide services related to the State and County Highway systems. 2021 Wage: $13.75 per hour. These are non-benefitted, limited term positions that will approximately be May – September. This is a non-CDL required position.

Qualifications: Applicant must be 18 years of age and possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an excellent driving record. Must be willing and able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, and overtime, as needed.
