Seasonal Parks Caretaker

This is a seasonal position. Grade 1 $15.48-$17.30 Hourly

Job Summary
As a function of the Waupaca County Parks Department, this limited term position provides position will perform various duties as needed to include Janitorial tasks, grass cutting, construction, etc.

Essential Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in maintenance tasks such as: cleaning, garbage collection, lawn mowing, etc.

Operates and performs preventive maintenance on a variety of park equipment, emphasis on turf care and landscape maintenance

Set up and take down equipment for various park and recreation programs

Participates in a variety of construction projects

Available to work weekends as needed

PERIPHERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School diploma or GED.

Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required
