Registered Nurse

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Performs difficult advanced human support work evaluating and monitoring behavioral health clients’ concerns and needs, providing treatment plans, coordinates client referrals to appropriate clinical services, maintains files and records, prepares reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Manager in coordination with the department’s psychiatric providers.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, or related field and moderate experience in general nursing, patient care and evaluation, health services, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse certification and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification upon hire. Obtain the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Comprehensive Community Services certification within 6 months of hire. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

Starting Wage: $24.63 per hour, depending on experience and certification. Adams County offers a generous benefits package.
