PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position has the capability to be performed remotely with only one day per quarter required in the office, for candidates with the ability to travel to the office within one hour.
The purpose of this position is to assure proper implementation of nutrition services in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). This position will assure quality nutrition services for the local WIC Program, including maintaining referral resources. This position will also provide nutrition counseling and consultation, breastfeeding counseling, follow-up education for high risk clients, preparation and presentation of nutrition education materials. The work is performed under the direction of the Director/Health Officer.
