Jackson County Department of Health & Human Services is looking to fill a full-time Public Health Nurse I/II position. Under the direction of the Public Health Manager/Health Officer, the Public Health Nurse I/II provides population-based public health nursing programs and services at the individual, community and systems level. This position provides Public Health services such as communicable disease monitoring, Immunizations, potential home visits for children and families and provides community education and outreach.
REQUIREMENTS: Current Registered Nursing License in the State of Wisconsin and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Public Health preferred. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license with access to transportation suitable to complete necessary work out of the office. 2024 Salary Range: $56,243 – $65,000 yearly and includes an excellent County benefit package and State retirement plan.
