Paving Foreman

Description : Purpose of Position:
Supervise, inspect, layout, and participate in the work of crews engaged in asphalt paving, sealcoating, blacktop patching, crack filling, base course shaping, and other areas associated with the surfacing of roads.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a CDL license Class “A” with “N” endorsement. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must have two years of experience in the field of surfacing of roads which includes but is not limited to the following; paving, sealcoating, crack filling, and blacktop patching or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience as a Foreman or Supervising a crew.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week:
Monday through Thursday 6:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Months – May/June – August.
Monday through Friday 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Months October- April

Starting wage range is $28.18- $29.79 plus excellent fringe benefits.
