Job Description:

The job duties of the Office Associate are to perform office related tasks for the Treasurer while providing responsive, courteous and efficient service to County employees and the general public.

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Works closely with other office staff to provide customer service to the public in an efficient manner.
• Operates office equipment, enters data into county computer programs and systems efficiently.
• Provides for counter service as a first point of contact for the general public, answers questions or directs to the appropriate party.
• Makes photocopies of necessary papers.
• Answers and greets callers by phone.
• Receive, research, and receipt real estate and personal property tax payments, both at the counter and by mail, accurately and in accordance with statute Assist with the mailing of delinquent and postponed tax statements.
• Other duties as assigned by the assigned department.

• High School diploma/equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Appointment will be conditional upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Must be bondable

Posting Pay Range: $15.22-$17.66
Posting Expected Pay Range: $15.22-$15.92
