NUTRITIONIST LTE – PUBLIC HEALTH
Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Nutritionist LTE (Limited Term Employment) position within the Public Health Department – Nutrition Division.
The job duties of the Nutritionist LTE include but are not limited to plan, provide and evaluate nutrition education and counseling for individuals and groups participating in County and/or public health departmental programs including but not limited to WIC, Prenatal Care Coordination, Employee Wellness, Breastfeeding Peer Counseling and special grants projects; and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public.
Approximately 8-16 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required. One (1) year of full-time or part-time work experience required. Has demonstrated experience in program management required. One (1) year public health, community nutrition/maternal-child health, lactation and nutrition experience or previous WIC program experience preferred. Wisconsin Certified Dietitian and Registered Dietitian with the National Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), or the ability to be certified within six (6) months of hire required. Starting Wage: $30.98 – $33.68 per hour depending on qualifications. **This is a non-benefit position.
