Pepin and Buffalo Counties ADRC are seeking a Nutrition Program Coordinator to lead the successful management of the bi-county Senior Nutrition Program. The purpose of the Senior Nutrition Program is to reduce hunger and food insecurity, while promoting socialization, health, and well-being among older adults.
The coordinator will evaluate and assess the Senior Nutrition Program and develop, modify, or adjust the procedures or activities to improve the program, work closely with the contracted Registered Dietician to ensure daily dietary requirements are met, and provide leadership and management to the assigned staff and volunteers within the bi-county Senior Nutrition Program. This position will also work in conjunction with the leadership team to monitor the budget.
Qualifications include an Associate Degree, preferably in Human Services related field, or equivalent work history, obtain ServSafe Certification within 90 days of hire and maintain certification, the ability to serve the public, greet people with a positive, caring, and professional manner, show evidence of attention to detail and accuracy, be creative, with the ability to brainstorm and troubleshoot situations.
2022 wage scale for this position is $19.43-$22.21 per hour. This position will work 37.5 hours per week with a complete benefit package. Work schedule may vary to meet the needs of the Nutrition Program and includes frequent travel to the senior meal sites in both counties.
