NUTRIENT MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION INTERN
Iowa County Land Conservation Department is seeking applications for one paid Nutrient Management and Conservation Internship. The internship will include implementing a short-term manure testing program in Iowa County; mapping and tracking nutrient management plannings, promote conservation programs and practices and assist Land Conservation field work. Internship would be available over the Summer 2025 with roughly working 480 hours with the option to continue working 10 hrs./wk. In the fall. Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., M-F. Hourly internships pay rate is $13.00/hr.
Minimum qualifications include high school diploma and currently pursuing (or recent graduate with) an associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, soil science, natural resources, or related field area. Intern should have a valid driver’s license and access to dependable transportation during work hours. Applicants must submit to a background check of their criminal record prior to hire.
