Mental Health Therapist

Richland County Health and Human Services has a full-time 40 hr/wk opening for a Mental Health Therapist in our Behavioral Health Services Unit providing mental health treatment service facilitation in a community setting.  Duties include maintaining a Comprehensive Community Services consumer treatment caseload, clinical assessment, and coordination of mental health treatment services.

Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required with the appropriate number of hours of supervised clinical experience preferred.  Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor certification in the State of Wisconsin is preferred. A valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation is required.  Local availability for emergency on-call rotation may also be required.  Current starting salary of $25.73 per hour which increases to $26.32-$26.90 after probation for a licensed applicant (starting salary for non-licensed applicant is $24.05 per hour which increases to $24.60-$25.14 after probation).  County health, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
