Maintenance Assistant

Do you enjoy mowing, snow removal, painting, and light maintenance activities? If so, the Monroe County Maintenance Department might have the job for you. We are hiring for a full-time Maintenance Assistant. Successful candidates will have graduated from high school with a minimum of two years maintenance and/or grounds care experience; or have an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Experience in grounds equipment operation would be beneficial.

Our Maintenance Assistant performs light maintenance duties for all county buildings, to include painting. This role also maintains the surrounding grounds to include seasonal mowing and snow removal.
