Lieutenant-Investigation/Dispatch
Performs difficult advanced protective services work managing the daily operation of the Investigations division and Dispatch division, analyzing equipment and training needs of the division, directing Staff assignments, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Chief Deputy Sheriff. Continuous supervision is exercised over Investigators, Dispatch Sergeant, and Dispatchers.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field and extensive experience in law enforcement, leadership, management, budget analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of State of Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standard Board Law Enforcement Officer certification upon hire. Obtain leadership and/or command level training/schooling within 1 year of hire. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.
WAGE: $34.63 per hour. The County offers a generous benefits package.
