Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Legal Secretary position within the District Attorney’s Office. The job duties of the Legal Secretary include but are not limited to assist the District Attorney and Assistant District Attorneys in the prosecution of criminal and civil matters referred by law enforcement agencies.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Legal or Administrative Assistant field of study. Associate Paralegal degree preferred. Two (2) years of legal or office experience required. Minimum of six (6) months of legal office experience and knowledge of the criminal legal system and legal terminology required. Valid driver’s license required. Starting Wage: $20.03 – $22.04 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $27.55 per hour.
