Jail Case Manager/Grant Coordinator

Performs case management services for inmates during their incarceration . The candidate selected for this position will have considerable knowledge regarding risk factors and assessing suicidality among adults. This individual should have experience and knowledge of personality development, psychopathology, family, group, and community dynamics and systems theory with strong interpersonal and team building skills, ability to establish rapport with clients and be able to intervene in crisis situations. This individual should also possess the ability to write and monitor grants. This position may include nights, weekends and on-call times.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or human services from an accredited undergraduate school. Or have a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy from an accredited graduate school. Prior crisis/corrections experience is preferred.

STARTING WAGE: $21.45 per hour. Juneau County offers a generous benefits package.
