Job Summary
Coordinates efforts to eradicate and provides educational information on various invasive plant species.
Essential Duties
Maps the presence and concentration of purple loosestrife, garlic mustard and buckthorn in
Brown County.

Provides educational information through the media on dangers of these plant species and
methods of control.

Assists homeowners and volunteers in identification of purple loosestrife, garlic mustard and
Buckthorn.

Coordinates eradication of invasive plant species in Brown County.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of invasive plant species.

Knowledge of general office procedures.

Knowledge of English, grammar and spelling.

Knowledge of and ability to utilize a computer and the required software.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
