The Intake and Assessment Unit (IAU) Supervisor oversees Department of Children and Families (DCF) programs which include Access, Initial Assessment, Foster Care Coordinator, Kinship Care, and Child Care Certification.

The IAU Supervisor is mandated to make an immediate to 24 hour decision regarding responding to a report of Child Abuse and Neglect.

The IAU Supervisor has responsibilities 24-7 as part of a rotation as the Supervisor On Call response for Juvenile Custody Intake.

The IAU Supervisor is the Administrator for contracted services of Targeted Case Management (TCM).

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or a degree in a related field.

Masters of Social Work, (M.S.W.) or a Masters in a related field preferred.

Notable experience in social work practice, along with management in a Human Services related field preferred. Other education and experience deemed to be equivalent in giving the individual the knowledge and skills to satisfactorily carry out the responsibilities of the position will be considered.
