POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs difficult professional advanced human services support work through conducting assessments, providing in-home goal-oriented treatment to families needing assistance recovering from a variety of issues, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Children Services Administrator.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Conduct in-home assessment including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of family functioning within the ecological context.
• Engage primary caregiver(s) and other key participants in active change-oriented.
• Develop short and long term family goals with measurable outcomes in collaboration with the individual/family in services.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate program adherence and fidelity.
• Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation with treatment.
• Provide direct clinical treatment using methods that include but is not limited to eco-structural family.
• Participate in all required training, supervision and consultation activities.
• Share in rotation of 24/7 on-call to in-home families.
• Direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic and functional) family therapies.
• Individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques.
• Marital therapy using behaviorally-based approaches.
• Behavioral therapy targeting school behavior and academic performance.
• Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the family’s natural ecology.
• Performs other duties as assigned by department.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related program.
• Three years’ experience working in a clinic setting with clients and through a community support or related program.
• State of Wisconsin Advanced Practice Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage or Family Therapist or Professional Counselor License.
• Must successfully pass criminal and caregiver background check.

Posting Pay Range: $65,598-$88,310
Posting Expected Pay Range: $65,538-$73,494
