Job Description:

Do you have experience operating motorized equipment and enjoy being outside? If so, Monroe County’s Highway Department might have the job for you! We’re hiring for a full-time Operations Assistant. Successful candidates will have the ability to operate dump trucks, tractor mowers, hand-held power equipment, etc., under varying climatic conditions and following oral and written instructions. Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License, minimum Class B at time of application is preferred.

Our Operations Assistant operates motorized equipment in the maintenance, repair, and construction of highways and rights-of-ways. Considerable overtime may be required especially during the winter months.

Starting salary for this position is: $18.00/hr. Monroe County offers an excellent benefit package to include health with vision, dental, term life, and more.
