Highway Commissioner

Rusk County is currently accepting applications for Highway Commissioner. The position manages the activities of the Highway Department and department staff. Prepares and administers annual department budget, plans future construction projects, projects long term budget plans for highway reconstruction, facility improvements, and staffing requirements. This is a management level position established by the Wis. State Statutes Chapter 83.01. The Highway Commissioner will be responsible for the management, administration and coordination of the entire Highway Department. Wage range is $38.79-$41.01 (depending on experience), plus benefits.
