Job Description:

Oneida County is seeking a full time GIS Specialist – Addressing Coordinator for the Land Information Office. This position is responsible for the management and implementation of the countywide road naming and uniform addressing system, in addition to maintaining GIS addressing and other databases, creating and editing maps, assisting with real property listing processes, assisting with tax foreclosed properties, processing county real estate transactions and a variety of other office activities. This full-time (37.5 hours per week) position has an hourly wage of $21.36 to $24.41 per hour dependent on previous education and experience.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years work experience OR Associates degree with 5 years work experience OR 8 years work experience (if no post High School Education) in the following areas: Education in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Surveying, Engineering, Real Estate or other land records related field and work experience in geospatial field, using the ESRI ArcGIS platform. Ideal applicants will have a valid WI Driver’s license, dependable personal vehicle for occasional travel, good knowledge of computer hardware along with software including Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, exceptional organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills, and excellent people skills.
