Starting Salary: $37.41

The Forestry and Recreation Administrator plans, directs, and administers the county forest timber, recreation, wildlife, and county owned dam operations. Other responsibilities include assisting with the development or review of silvicultural management programs, trail development, the County’s Outdoor Recreation Plan, and preparing the department budgets and grant applications.

Applicants for this position must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry from an SAF accredited university or College of Forestry. Three to five years forest or resource planning experience and grant writing and implementation experience preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
