Fiscal Manager

Performs complex professional work overseeing the fiscal administration of the Department, preparing reports and other financial documentation, assisting with payroll operations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Highway Commissioner. Maintains all Highway Department financial operations in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Uniform Cost Accounting Manual. Continuous supervision is exercised over those assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and extensive experience in a supervisory governmental finance role, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

WAGE: $32.21 per hour. Adams County offers a generous benefits package.
