Female Corrections Officer

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications to fill current full-time female Corrections Officer vacancies. Positions are responsible for guarding inmates in the penal institution in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures. This is a non-sworn position without arrest powers.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary course work and/or knowledge of public safety and security is preferred. Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

2024 Wage Range: $23.95 – $27.37 per hour and would be night shift; 6:00 pm – 6:00 am. Full-time position includes excellent County benefit package and State retirement plan.
