Position Opening – Social Worker II

Crawford County Health & Human Services Department is accepting applications for the position of Family and Children Social Worker II. DUTIES: This position is an opportunity to assist families involved in the child protection system by assessing safety and providing interventions to help families function in a healthier and safer manner. On call duties are required on a rotational basis. REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor’s degree in social work or a closely related field. Certification or ability to be certified as a social worker in Wisconsin in a reasonable period is required. Applicants must be able to pass a caregiver background check.

Salary: $26.82/hr beginning; $30.36/hr after one year and successful completion of an introductory period. Excellent fringe benefits.
