Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Family Interaction Worker position within the Department of Human Services – Children, Youth & Families Division. The job duties of the Family Interaction Worker include but are not limited to: providing parenting education to families being served through the Child Protective Services Unit under the direction of the Children, Youth and Families Manager and Supervisor. This position facilitates and oversees visits between children and their families when children have been removed from their biological parent(s)/guardian(s).

Approximately 15-20 hours per week based on client needs, which may include evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of full-time or part-time relevant work experience is required. Must complete Case Worker Pre-Service training within sixty (60) days of hire. A valid driver’s licenses is required. Starting Wage: $18.35 – $19.95 per hour depending on qualifications. Maximum Wage: $23.94 per hour. *This is a non-benefited position.
