Facilities and Capital Management Director
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to direct, manage, and supervise the personnel and operations of the Facilities & Capital Management (FCM) Department which includes working jointly with the Deputy Administrator and County Administration to manage and implement the County’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and budget. The work is performed under the direction of the Deputy County Administrator.

Experience and Education Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree from an approved college/university in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
•Five years of responsible work and supervisory experience in building maintenance, facilities management, construction, or related field.
•Experience in industrial purchasing methods and procedures as well as management of construction and maintenance contracts.
•Possession of a current, unrestricted (not due to corrective lenses) and valid driver’s license.
•Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify an applicant, and be considered in lieu of the more specific criteria listed above.
Necessary Special Qualifications:
•Because the job duties can involve access to secure areas and confidential and/or criminal and prosecutorial information, the selected candidate(s) must possess a good reputation and background which will withstand pre-appointment investigation, that will include finger-print check. Candidates must be free of any felony convictions to be considered for this position.
Compensation:
•Starting Salary (T): $96,907.20 – $108,534.40 based on candidate’s expertise, experience, education, and certifications.
•Range Maximum: $130,832.00
