Equipment Operator/Truck Driver

Performs intermediate skilled trades work conducting preventative maintenance on equipment, operating single axle, tandem axle, heavy machinery, and tanker trucks, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Solid Waste Director.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience in heavy equipment and truck driving operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of Commercial Driver’s License upon hire. Obtain Department of Natural Resources Landfill Operator certification within 6 months of employment. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

WAGE: $20.73 per hour, 40 hours per week. Adams County offers a generous benefits package.
