Equipment Operator

Jackson County is accepting applications to fill a full-time Equipment Operator position. Essential duties of the Equipment Operator position include snow plow truck driving, and operation of a variety of small, light and heavy-duty equipment. Applicant should have prior experience in road snow removal and/or maintenance equipment operation and general mechanical aptitude.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; Minimum four (4) years’ experience in road maintenance/repair and/or construction work. A Class A (CDL) Commercial driver’s license and a clean driving record is required. Starting wage: $22.59 per hour and includes an excellent County benefit package and Wisconsin State Retirement.
