Application Requirements & Details Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Elder Benefit Specialist (EBS)

Primary duties for the Elder Benefits Specialist position will be to provide individuals 60 years of age and older with information, assistance, and advocacy in the areas of public benefits, housing, and consumer issues. The EBS is also responsible for coordinating outreach and education to older persons, service providers, and professionals in the community.

Qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, preferably in a health or human services field or be licensed as a registered nurse in Wisconsin and one (1) year of relevant experience. Evidence of attention to detail and accuracy is required.

Starting wage for this position is $20.55 – $23.49 per hour based on experience. This position will work 37.5 hours per week with a complete benefit package included. This position will be located at the Buffalo County Office.

They will also excel at coordinating outreach and education to older persons, service providers and professionals in the community. They will have the ability to serve the public, greet people with a positive, caring and profession manner.
