Economic Support Specialist
Richland County Health and Human Services is seeking energetic, customer-oriented individuals to conduct client interviews, verify information, interpret regulations and enter data into a computer system. This full-time 40 hr/wk position will maintain a caseload of individuals eligible for public assistance benefits and provide excellent customer service in a call center environment.
High School diploma or vocational/technical training required with knowledge of public benefits, entitlements, insurance rules and consumer issues preferred. Successful applicants must be able to complete 100 hours of onsite State training within six months of employment. Current starting wage is $17.31 per hour which increases to $17.70 per hour after passing probation. County health, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
