Join our team as a full-time (35 hours per week) Economic Support Specialist! In this role, you’ll make a direct impact by supporting individuals and families with vital economic support programs.

An Economic Support Specialist determines eligibility for all Economic Support programs, including Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, FoodShare, and Child Care Assistance. Interviews consumers, collects data, and processes budgets; records and documents information; accesses, prepares, and inputs all data into the statewide computer processing system. Taylor County is a partner of the Northern Income Maintenance Consortium. All Economic Support Specialists within the Northern Income Maintenance Consortium are assigned tasks, which may include primarily call center, application processing, renewals, or ongoing case maintenance as needed. Responsibility also includes staying up to date with program and policy changes and making appropriate referrals to community resources.

Applicant must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent, successfully complete new-worker training courses, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
