Dive Team Member

Oneida County is accepting applications for the Oneida County Dive Team. This position pays $20.01 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.

Qualified applicants must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, and have the desire and ability to operate in dive rescue response and recovery operations. These operations include night, ice, deep and low visibility dive conditions. Team members are expected to work within the Incident Command System under the direction of an incident commander. Members shall take part in monthly trainings, attend related meetings, and maintain or obtain the appropriate certifications for public safety divers. Applicants must pass a swim test, an initial medical physical and maintain an annual standard of fitness as prescribed by the Dive Team. No previous diving experience is required in order to be considered for this position.
